About ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Training

ISO 9001 lead auditor training refers to a job title held by an International Standards Organization (ISO) auditor, or inspector. The role of an ISO auditor is to establish an international baseline for standards of market products. This can include the weights and measures of products, such as to have milk sold in specific volumes like liters or gallons. In can also include matters involving quality control and managerial procedure. These are often the items most commonly associated with the ISO 9000 and in particular the ISO 9001. The object is to have a predictable product and service when trades are made remotely across international regions. The ISO is formally organized and the requirements are strictly defined. The sections of written descriptions are held in a document, which was originally labeled 9000, and a newer updated version has been labeled 9001. An ISO auditor is someone who is trained and knowledgeable in all the ISO standards and can verify that an applicant for ISO certification is compliant with ISO standards. Hiring as an ISO auditor requires a period of book study and lecture followed by a written test. ISO 9001 lead auditor training typically is an extension of the same. The ISO lead auditor will need additional education to assume that job title.
