We Purchased An Effective Business Paging System In Iowa
I am the office manager for a large dairy processing plant outside of Des Moines. As part of our administrative system upgrade this year, I was tasked with choosing a new internal communications system. Our plant comprises of four different factory buildings over an area of seven acres, and we've always struggled to find an efficient way to contact key staff quickly.
I spoke to these communications suppliers who were offering a comprehensive business paging system in Iowa. I went with their sales manager out to another plant similar to ours, where this system was up and running. I was most impressed at seeing how all the customizable features worked so well. For example if a call came in for a manager, the telephonist had several options. They could:
- Forward the call to the person's cell or office phone
- Put out an audible page to the entire complex
- Put out an audible page to a particular section (or sections) of the complex, or
- Take either an audio or typed massage and create a visible alert on the person's office phone
These features sounded perfect for us, and this product was well and truly the best business paging system in Iowa that I saw. We've had this quality product installed for two months now, and it's proving to be a very effective communications tool indeed.
