My son is getting ready to head off to college in the next couple of months. He has pretty much everything he needs. He has plenty of new clothes, a phone, a computer and a little flat screen TV to take with him. The one thing he didn't have was a stereo.
So for his birthday a few weeks ago, we took him to a local store that sells stereo systems in Benzonia MI. They have every brand name and style that you can imagine. My son is going to be living in a dorm, so space is everything. Also, he did want something with a couple of auxiliary inputs. That way he can hook up his iPad and his phone. He has a lot of music on those devices.
Having a good tuner was important to him also. That was surprising to me, because with all of the new technology, I didn't think anyone listened to the radio anymore. But apparently there's an on-campus college radio station that all the kids really like.
The sales rep that we spoke with at the store was fun to work with. We found a great unit for my son to take with him to college. I also noted that this distributor is one of the leaders for selling car stereo systems in Benzonia MI. My other son turns 16 next month. We'll probably be coming back to buy something for his car.
